Mission Emanuel

Mission Emanuel encourages people from all walks of life and faith to come to the Dominican Republic. We believe that God can use anyone who is willing to serve.

Family:
Throughout the year, we have several opportunities for families to join us. We invite husbands, wives, sons, and daughters to experience God’s work in the DR together. A family trip is also a great time for individuals (college age or older) to come if you are without an organized group. Trips open to families and individuals in June and October.

Women:
American women come down to work with the Mission Emanuel Co-op. The week includes classes in sewing, knitting, cross-stitch, painting, jewelry making and much more. A special event honoring all Mission Emanuel staff is also held during the week. Open to women annually in January.

Men:
American men spend the week working with Dominican men on construction projects. The week also includes a community evangelistic outreach to men in Cielo and Nazaret. Open to men annually in April.

College:
Students from all over the US spend one week of Spring Break serving in the DR. Open annually in March.

High School:
High school youth groups spend one week of summer in the DR. Construction work, community outreach, and children’s Bible school are some of the activities available. Open annually in June.
