Building Homes

Newly completed Vijo & Glendie Mendoza home, October 2010 Open Trip and dedication.

The photos below document the entire process of building the Mendoza’s new home from start to finish. In most cases various teams from different STM trips participate in the home building process which may take from 6 months to a year to complete.

The cost of a new home is between $15,000 – $20,000 US Dollars. Donations provided by Americans support these projects. We have a waiting list now of 2-3 urgently needed new homes. Over the past 15 years we have built over 53 homes for these needy families.

We will not start to build any home unless the donations for that home are in the bank.
