Child Sponsorship Success
Today, there are nearly 500 children that are included in the Child Sponsorship Program at the Cielo School, the Nazaret School, two secondary schools and several universities. Sponsors of students contribute $40 per month to help to give hope and a future for each impoverished child. It has been enormously successful and many of our present ministry staff members own education is a result of being a part of the Sponsorship Program.
Our Medical Center Needs Your Help
Another critical program of Mission Emanuel is the Medical Center which includes the Mary Lynch Budd Pediatric Clinic, a four-chair dental clinic, and a state-of-the-art physical therapy center.
We are now inaugurating a sponsorship program expressly for our children’s Medical Clinic called Medical Center Angels.
The Medical Clinic treats children and their parents with professionalism, love, and dignity. Every treatment includes prayer with Dr. Sara and each child receives the proper medications. Follow up appointments are scheduled as necessary. All this is provided for less than one US dollar and only if the family has it. No child is ever turned away untreated.
Medical Center Angels Sponsorship Levels
Our new program will cover actual costs and provide medical treatment:
- $40 per month for 8 children (96 children each year)
- $20 per month for 4 children (48 children each year)
Even a one-time gift will ensure the viability of the only place all children in the Mission’s vicinity can go to receive quality medical care.
By donating $40 per month, you will be helping the equivalent number of children in our Cielo school!
You can help a group of kids like this receive loving medical care and preventative vaccinations to keep them from illnesses that were common here just 20 years ago.
