New Playground!
As a child, did you ever say that recess was your favorite subject? Well, I can surely say it was mine. I just loved running, playing basketball, talking to people, making friends, socializing, just playing games (even now as an adult)! but this is me. What about you? Sometimes just to sit down for a while is enough but we always need a break.
Recess plays such an important role in a child’s education. Growing up, when I attended elementary school in Nazaret, all we had was a basketball goal that we made with a bicycle rim nailed to the wall. Years later, God used many people to help build up the school and then a very nice playground. You should have seen the children’s faces when the playground was opened for the first time! It brought joy just to see them playing.
This playground helped many generations to move, socialize, think, and imagine! This playground is now very worn out but there are still other generations growing up that need it. A group of people are joining efforts to make this happen. For only one person, it is hard but for all of us, it is possible. Will you join me in donating? ~Emmanuel Corsino, Director of Family Ministries
We Need Your Help!
Volunteers and donors are already rallying around this important cause for these children and their community. Nazaret’s playground is already almost halfway funded through the generosity of donors who know a playground is in tegral to the the health of these children. This equipment will be well-loved and well-used. This will be a sturdy investment for these children and their futures.
